Rental Terms & Conditions
1. Rental Period & Pick-Up

All rentals are for 7 days at a time.

If you need the item longer, it must be rented again for an additional 7-day period with full payment due at renewal.

Customers must schedule a pick-up time in-store when reserving their rental.

Items must be returned by the end of business on the Return Date.
2. Payment & Card on File

Full payment is required in advance to reserve your rental item.

A valid credit or debit card must remain on file during the rental period for any potential late fees, damages, or replacement charges.

No refunds are issued once a rental has been booked and paid.
3. Care & Cleaning

All items must be professionally dry cleaned before being returned to The Blue Closet.

Do not alter, cut, or permanently modify rented items.

Avoid contact with smoke, perfumes, lotions, or other substances that may cause damage or odors.
4. Late Fees

Late returns will incur a $20 per day late fee.

After 7 days past the due date, the item will be considered unreturned and the full retail value as listed on our website will be charged to the card on file.
5. Damages or Loss

If an item is returned damaged, stained, or altered, or is not returned, the customer agrees to pay the full retail price of the item as listed on our website.
6. Cancellations

Once reserved and paid, all rentals are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or unused rental periods.

7. Liability
The Blue Closet is not responsible for any accidents, allergic reactions, or damages that may occur while items are in the renter’s possession.
Rentals for Minors
If the renter is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian assumes full financial and legal responsibility for all items rented under this contract. This includes payment for damages, loss, or non-returned items at full retail value.
