When the O’Bryan Brothers first attempted to trademark the word “Duck,” also the name for the Civil War tent material they used to make their first workwear, the Trademark Office denied their application for being too generic. The brothers added “Head” to create “Duck Head.” That application was approved! The iconic mallard mark was born. This print memorializes and celebrates the original Trademark registration.
